Captains Review for Round 14
We did the Captains review at the end of the first split – to get a wrap of those games click here.
After blazing through captain selections for the first half of the split round, the last two games have left me high and dry. Like most I went with Gary Ablett (78) for the Cats/Crows clash, but with him being rested a tad up forward he didn’t perform. I didn’t even mention Bartel who put in the best performance of the round with 145 (Joel Corey was also good with 123).
For the Swans/Pies I recommended you avoid the game, which wasn’t too bad, but if you did you missed out on Dane Swans 130.
My captain for the week was Matthew Pavlich, who had me tearing my hair out in the 3rd quarter after Coxy had already posted 124, but after he just managed to top 100 in the final quarter I felt much more at ease.
