AFL Injury Update

As per Real Footy:

Ryan Gamble (Geelong) concussion Fell heavily onto his head. Taken briefly to hospital but no serious concerns. May play this week if fully recovered.

Paul Chapman (Geelong) finger Compound dislocation of his finger with bone sticking though skin. Had surgery to repair ligaments late on Friday night. Likely to miss 1-2 weeks.

Shaun Higgins (Western Bulldogs) groin Appeared to aggravate his adductor problem. May miss a couple of weeks.

Jarrod Waite (Carlton) knee Hyperextended his knee on Saturday. Scans showed partial tear of ACL. Will see surgeon today to determine whether he needs a knee reconstruction

Courtney Dempsey (Essendon) ankle Sprained ankle. Likely to miss this week.

Adam McPhee (Essendon) ankle Sprained ankle. Likely to be available.

Craig Bird (Sydney) concussion To be assessed this week.
