Barry Hall to Quit the Sydney Swans
July 7, 2009 by News
Sydney Swans bad boy Barry Hall is expected to quit the club at a Press Conference this afternoon.
BARRY Hall is expected to announce he is quitting the Swans effective immediately at a press conference this afternoon. Sydney has called a press conference with Hall and coach Paul Roos for 1pm.
Fairfax Media – who Hall writes for – is reporting that he is expected to announce then that he is walking away from the club.
The burly forward is currently serving a two-game suspension for punching Crow Ben Rutten in Round 13.
Hall flagged the possibility of leaving the club in his column last Friday, where he said while the time may have come for him to leave the Swans, he didn’t want to quit football altogether.
You would think it would be difficult for Hall to find another club that wants his services given his recent history. There had been a bit of talk that the Western Bulldogs may be interested as they were after his services last year. Given the situation the Dogs are in and how well they are going you would think this would just be too big a risk for them to take.
Do you think this is a good move for Hall and Sydney? Is this end of Hall’s career? Leave us with your thoughts.

About time…
Now Sydney will be a better team and they can focus on their blood code again
Sydney will never be a better team, they will always be boring as bat shit to watch…
