DHF Dream Team Watch – Finally Yarren and Sidebottom named!
May 8, 2009 by Jesse Penfold
The Round 7 teams have brought some excitement in the way of rookie inclusions. Namely the highly touted Chris Yarren will make his debut this week for the Blues, while another DT favourite after a solid preseason performance, Steele Sidebottom has finally been named in Collingwood’s squad.
This comes just in time as rookie frw’s are hitting their peak or well on the way (Taylor Walker – BE 65, Mitch Brown – BE 30). Despite Yarren’s high rookie price DT coaches all over will have high hopes he can post some drool worthy scores to present a solid down grade option that is severly lacking up forward right now.
And Steele Sidebottom, while unlikely to actually get a game this week, should atleast be named as an emergency which is a step up. As everyone has been waiting with baited breath after MM teased us all during the ANZAC day build up – Steele has that much loved quality of being a midfeild that you can play up FRW in your DT so keep an eye out.
